St Mary’s students are encouraged explore and develop forms of expression and communication through the performing arts.
Music, drama and dance are featured in presentation nights, musical productions, performing arts evenings, inter-school festivals, Cairns & District Junior Eisteddfod and community productions.
Students interested in the performing arts also have opportunities to be involved in liturgical work, preparation and presentation, as part of the Leadership Mass, St Mary’s Feast Day, and Graduation Mass.
Performing arts students also attend a variety of performances by touring companies at the Civic Theatre and at the College.
