An investment in your child’s future

At St Mary’s Catholic College, we’re committed to providing an exceptional education that nurtures every student’s academic, spiritual, and personal growth. We aim to keep fees affordable and transparent so that families understand exactly what their contributions support.

College Fees

The total cost of attendance varies depending on your child’s year level and includes several components:

  • Diocesan Tuition Fee – Set by the Catholic Diocese of Cairns, this fee helps fund high-quality teaching and learning across the Diocese.
  • College Resource Levy – Covers materials, classroom resources, and participation in College activities and programs.
  • P&F Levy – Supports initiatives led by our Family Connect Committee, funding projects and events that enrich College life.
  • Building Levy – Contributes to the maintenance and development of our buildings and facilities, ensuring modern learning spaces for every student.
  • Laptop Hire Levy – Introduced progressively from 2025 for Years 7, 8 and 10, covering the cost of devices under a three-year hire agreement.

We understand that every family’s circumstances are different. The following concessions are available:

  • Sibling discounts for families with more than one child enrolled in Catholic schools within the Cairns Diocese.
  • Discounts for eligible Health Care Card and Pensioner Concession Card holders.
  • Financial assistance for families experiencing genuine hardship.

Our goal is to ensure that a St Mary’s education remains accessible to all families who value the opportunities we offer.
