Our Mission and Vision

St Mary’s is a Catholic co-educational community that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ in a spirit of Faith, Hope and Love. These virtues shape who we are, how we learn and how we live together.

“In short, there are three things that last: Faith, Hope and Love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13

Faithful to the mission of Jesus, we partner with families to empower our students to realise their full potential so that they can make a difference in our world.

At St Mary’s, this vision is lived out every day. We aim to nurture young people who grow to be:

  • Discerning believers who reflect the life and teachings of Jesus.
  • Reflective and creative thinkers who ask questions, explore ideas and seek deeper understanding.
  • Effective communicators who enter into dialogue, listen and speak with clarity and respect.
  • Self-directed and life-long learners who take responsibility for their learning, persevere, and embrace growth.
  • Collaborative contributors who work with others and value the strengths and dignity of their peers.
  • Caring family members who show compassion, empathy, and support.
  • Responsible citizens who act with integrity and contribute positively to their local and global community.

These qualities guide our approach to learning, wellbeing and community life, helping every student grow into a capable, confident and compassionate young adult.

Our Mission

Through FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, we make a difference in our world.
“In short, there are three things that last: Faith, Hope and Love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13

Our mission calls us to live out these values in practical ways — in our relationships, in our learning. and in the way we serve others. It shapes a College culture where each person is respected, supported and encouraged to make a positive impact.
