Living Mary’s “YES”

Faith, community and care are at the heart of life at St Mary’s Catholic College. Our mission, inspired by Faith, Hope and Love, guides the way we learn, support one another and contribute to the world around us.

Through our faith and wellbeing programs, students are encouraged to grow spiritually, develop strong relationships and live out the values that shape our Catholic identity. We strive to create a community where every young person feels known, respected and supported.

Faith and Mission are lived every day at St Mary’s – in the classroom, on the campus, and throughout our wider community. Below you can explore the key areas of our Faith and Mission program:

  • Catholic Identity – Discover how our traditions, celebrations and faith practices help students grow in understanding and express their spirituality.
  • Service – Each year, students respond with courage and generosity, supporting causes such as Caritas’ Project Compassion, Cancer Council, Catholic Mission, St Vincent de Paul, and Rosie’s Friends on the Street.
  • Encounter – Additional opportunities to deepen faith through invitational activities, IGNITE Conference, Fiat Retreat, Pilgrimage to Rome, and the Australian Catholic Youth Festival.
  • Missio Dei – Our student led youth group is faith in action by volunteering and supporting others coordinated by our Campus Minister.
  • Connection – Joining Father James Thazhoor and the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, students serve in ministries that connect Parish life.

Faith and Mission are lived every day at St Mary’s — in the classroom, on the campus and throughout our wider community.
