Pastoral Care at St Mary’s Catholic College is grounded in the belief that every student deserves to feel safe, supported and valued. Our Heads of Year work closely with teachers, counsellors, Heads of Department and parents/carers to ensure a nurturing environment where students can flourish.
Students also participate in camps, retreats and leadership experiences that support their emotional, social and spiritual development. These activities align with our social and emotional learning program and play an important role in growing confidence, character and leadership skills.
At St Mary’s, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in College life through attending assemblies and events, joining the Family Connect group and taking part in scheduled parent-teacher interviews. Together, we work to ensure that every student’s experience is positive, enriching and supported.
