St Mary’s Catholic College provides a comprehensive Diversity support service that is integrated into everyday classroom practice. Our goal is to ensure all students can access the curriculum, experience success and grow as confident, independent learners.

Support is available for students with impairments, specific learning disabilities, learning difficulties, or for whom English is an additional language. St Mary’s also offers dedicated First Nations Education support, guided by a First Nations Liaison Officer and an active committee focused on program development and cultural wellbeing.

Our Learning Support Team aims to build independence by supporting students to develop the skills, strategies and confidence needed to reach their full potential. The Diversity Team works closely with classroom teachers to provide targeted assistance where it is most effective.
